Job protection
Employers may not fire, threaten or coerce an employee over jury service. A fired employee may sue within 60 days for up to six weeks lost wages and reinstatement2
Many counties pay more than the state minimum, and your summons usually says what you will be paid. If something here is not covered, your summons or the court clerk can tell you.
