- Mileage
- No separate mileage. The $20 daily allowance covers travel and parking1
- Job protection
- An employer may not deprive an employee of employment over jury service. Fine up to $500 or 6 months prison. Fired employees may sue within 90 days1
- Postponing or being excused
- The court may excuse a person for undue hardship for a period it considers necessary, after which they must reappear as directed1
Many counties pay more than the state minimum, and your summons usually says what you will be paid. If something here is not covered, your summons or the court clerk can tell you.
