Jury duty pay in Arkansas
$50 a day when seated on a jury. Prospective jurors excused or not seated get at least $15 a day as set by county ordinance1
First day pay depends on whether the juror is seated. Counties set the unseated rate.
Your rights as a juror
- Job protection
- After reasonable notice, an employer may not discharge or penalize an employee, including loss of sick leave or vacation, for jury service. Violation is a Class A misdemeanor2
Many counties pay more than the state minimum, and your summons usually says what you will be paid. If something here is not covered, your summons or the court clerk can tell you.
